Universitas Insan Pembangunan Indonesia (UNIPI) successfully held a National Seminar on Saturday, 22 November 2025, at the Saba Karya Auditorium from 13:00 to 15:00 WIB. The event was lively and attended by hundreds of students, lecturers, and invited guests.
The event began with registration and committee preparation, and at 13:00 it was officially opened by the MC. After singing the Indonesian National Anthem and the UNIPI March, a series of remarks were delivered by various student organization leaders and university officials, including the Vice President of BEM UNIPI, Hengki Pranata; Chairman of HMAk, Andi Saputra; Chairman of KSPM, Asep Daman; remarks by Vice Rector III, Dr. Istajib Kulla Himmy’azz, S.ST., M.M; followed by remarks from the Rector of UNIPI, Prof. Dr. Dra. Francisca Sestri G., MM; and finally from the Branch Manager of Bank Mandiri, Mrs. Agustina Gitariani.
The Rector of UNIPI, Prof. Dr. Dra. Francisca Sestri G., MM, emphasized in her speech that UNIPI is committed to becoming a campus that fosters a Financially Smart and Early Investment Generation through the 3B concept: Learn, Collaborate, and Adapt. She highlighted the importance of students understanding financial literacy to be prepared for economic challenges and the rapid development of the industrial world.
The seminar continued with its core sessions featuring three main topics. The first topic was delivered by Norman Yudha Andreswara, Senior Officer of Literacy & Education at Mandiri Sekuritas, discussing investment and financial transformation, including the concept of the financial pyramid, how to manage cash flow, and understanding instruments such as stocks, bonds, and mutual funds. This session also emphasized the importance of starting to invest early as a strategy to face inflation and build long-term financial stability.
The second session discussed housing loans (KPR) and home ownership planning, followed by the third session on banking products presented by the Bank Mandiri team. Each session included an interactive Q&A and door prizes for participants who actively asked questions.
The Chair of the Organizing Committee, Mrs. Rachma Nadhila Sudiyono, S.Ak., M.Ak, also shared her thoughts on the success of the event. She stated: “We highly appreciate the collaboration between practitioners and academics in this national seminar. This synergy proves that the world of education and the professional industry can work hand in hand to provide insights that are relevant, applicable, and directly impactful for students.”
Through this event, UNIPI hopes students will gain a deeper understanding of the importance of financial literacy and be able to apply proper financial strategies from an early age. This national seminar stands as concrete evidence of the collaboration between academia and industry in shaping a young generation that is smart, visionary, and ready to compete in the future.
